Association Rules of Comorbidities in Patients Hospitalized for Lung Cancer

Objectives: The purpose of this study is to find out how the accompanying diseases lung cancer patients are related. Through this, we aim provide implications for management and national policy. Methods: subjects were Korean National Hospital Discharge in-depth Injury Survey, which was surveyed from 2006 2016, among them, with selected. major variable, comorbidities, grouped based on middle classification KCD-7 revision. general characteristics analyzed by frequency, χ2-test performed test difference in distribution presence comorbidity. In order analyze association rules support, confidence, improvement presented visualized using arules package apriori algorithm R program. Results: As a result analysis, proportion comorbid 21,882 discharged 82.86%, an average 2.48±2.19 comorbidities diagnosed. applying criteria support (>0.01), confidence (>0.1), lift (>1), 33 comorbidity patterns found. high “hypertensive (I10-I15)” “malignant neoplasms ill-defined, secondary unspecified sites (C76-C80)”, “diabetes mellitus (E10-E14)” (I10-I15)”, (C76-C80)” (E10-E14)”, “influenza pneumonia (J09-J18)” so on. Conclusions: This provides related Korean. It used diagnosis treatment patients, it effectively improving Future research effect medical use or results needed, focusing comorbidities.
